WE WELCOME POLESTAR AS OUR HEADLINE SPONSOR
As headline sponsor of Sleeping With Art, Polestar will be sharing its annual Design Competition winning-entries from 2021. The Design Competition sets to encourage, support and shape change to see what a more sustainable electric future could look like. Polestar, through its popular Design community Instagram feed encourages and brings together student and professional designers from all backgrounds and locations across the globe to unite to improve our future through design.
Last year's brief was to design a Polestar that encourages societal progression. One that offers solutions to current and ongoing problems, such as the climate crisis. Sleeping with Art will be the first UK display of some of the top entries received and judged by the Polestar panel, including Juan Pablo Bernal, Interior Design Manager for Polestar and Design Community lead. Juan Pablo will be speaking throughout the event to share the experiences and learnings from the 2021 competition.
In addition, Polestar will be displaying its Polestar 2 100% electric fastback on the lawns outside Hedsor House. A design-focused electric car with progressive performance & cutting-edge technology the Polestar 2 has won plaudits from customers and critics alike.
LOTUS
LOTUS EVIJA FITTIPALDI SPECIAL EDITION: THE EPITOME OF AUTOMOTIVE ART
As a name, Evija (pronounced ‘E-vi-ya’) means ‘the first in existence’ or ‘the living one’.
We are proud to host the Lotus Evija Fittipaldi Special Edition's first public appearance since its launch last weekend.
The all-electric Lotus Evija hypercar. The most powerful car to enter series production, and the epitome of the company Carved By Air philosophy. Sculpted porosity masters airflow to deliver out-of-this-world performance and road handling.
The Evija marks the start of an exciting new chapter in the history of an iconic and much-loved British sports car brand. It is the first hypercar from Lotus, and the company’s first model with an electrified powertrain.
Production is limited to not more than 130 examples, making it among the most exclusive cars ever launched. It’s a figure set in tribute to the car’s project code, Type 130. Lotus road and race cars throughout the brand’s seven decades of success have been assigned a Type number, and the Evija is no exception.
ARKONIK
We will welcome ‘UJO’ – the Land Rover which formed the original concept behind Arkonik. A 1984 Land Rover 110 SW which has been remastered for modern motoring. With an LS engine, uprated running gear and unique restomod styling which includes hand painted artwork on the chassis depicting Arkoniks’ journey.

Visitors to Sleeping With Art will have the opportunity to see and experience the breadth of CALLUM’s latest design and engineering projects at it celebrates automotive art and creativity.
From single cask whisky to limited edition sports cars; exquisite furniture to modern electric scooters: CALLUM has been exciting and delighting automotive aficionados with its creativity since its formation in 2019, producing a vast array of bespoke products to stir the imagination.
JODIE SLOSS AND ERIKA HOFFMAN
Sleeping with Art supports women in Motorsports by having the Jaguar Project 8 raced by drivers Jodie Sloss and Erika Hoffman wrapped live by Vehicle Wraps Yorkshire.
JASON BRUGES STUDIO
Jason Bruges talks about his work for automotive brands and brings 'Standing Shadow I' to Sleeping with Art: The Art of Cars. The piece is a monolithic media mirror, an exploration of presence and absence, the artwork is animated by movement.
The Shadow series uses bespoke technology designed by Jason Bruges Studio. Each individual LED/sensor node across the face of the artwork operates autonomously, both sensing and emitting light simultaneously.
